10/20/2003: I suck...

I didn't do any of the stuff I ought to have been doing today, or in fact anything productive at all. Instead I mostly watched cartoons and CSI episodes, and the one time I ventured out of the house was to get some chocolate. Finally that I'm blogging about this completes the picture of me as a living media fan cliche. Kind of like that victim in the CSI episode "You've Got Male" only I don't get to have internet dates over (and hopefully I don't die by falling through a glass door either).

Besides that, I can now say that X-Men Evolution doesn't seem so bad, that the Justice League cartoon's theme music is over the top with pathos, but the two JL episodes I watched were quite entertaining. I think it were the latest two, the one with the bad guy controlling dreams, and the one where wonder women goes out with this princess, and they spend the whole night together having lots of fun. Also, that CSI is lots of fun to watch, but it isn't a great idea to eat lunch while you watch it, though my appetite didn't suffer exactly, it was still not the best background for a meal to watch people vomiting and bugs crawling over stuff.

Also the start of Ultimate Spider-Man isn't too bad a retelling of the original Spider-Man, though I have to say, that I wasn't impressed by the art. It's solid, but seems kind of bland if slick, lacking a really distinct style, and I don't care much for it. (Yeah I read a comic too, somewhere inbetween the cartoons and the CSI eps.)
