11/23/2002: cool Save Farscape Campaign stuff

There are going to be fan-made tv commercials in 24 US cities during the upcoming week. The overall goal as I understand it is to get mainstream media coverage for the Save Farscape cause, with things like this press release, because it's unusual that fans do tv ads. The commercial itself has the "I am Farscape" theme, showing different fans (that way there's no problem with copyrighted material being used); if you can play quicktime format (I can't, unfortunately, so I haven't seen it) you can also look at it online.

Also take a look at the great Farscape car-wrap, there's a photo near the bottom of the page.

I am embarrassed to admit how little I do to help my favorite show, all I did/do is writing letters, postcards, and e-mails, and the last three weeks I've even neglected that, actually I've only send one postcard this week. I'm a sloth...

Still it's great and uplifting to see all the creative activity going on, even though my dedication to the cause sucks.
